A 64 years old Diana Nyad is an American author, journalist, and long-distance swimmer noted for her world-record endurance championships. (for more info. visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diana_Nyad)
Her last attempt was cut short amid boat trouble, storms, unfavorable currents and jellyfish stings that left her face puffy and swollen.
She is the Badass that never give up.
This is her fifth attempt since 1978 and she made history on Monday swimming from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage at the age of 64.
She finally DID it!!!!
In her own words she says I have Three messages
One is: We should never ever give up.
Two is: You are never too old to chase your dreams.
and Three is : it looks like a solitary sport but it takes a team.
True inspiration, no matter how many times you have try, never give up.
