Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

work, jobWhen I was working, I thought that was the only way to make a living.

Every day I show up to work and give my all.

There was always  drama at  work, my boss was taking credit of all the hard work that I did and that was not fair. I felt lost, I didn’t have any direction on which way to go.

Then I realize that I was not going anywhere and decided to change my career.

I start working with another company, did the same thing and then I start felling sick.

I told my employer  that I was going to Dr’s to find out what is going on with me.

I went through several Dr’s until one of them told me that there was something wrong and he referred me to a specialist Doctor which is in Tampa.

I went through all sort of tests, machines. (MRI, Bone Scan, etc..) and then the results change my life for ever.

The Doctor deliver the news that I have stage 4 breast cancer metastatic to the bone.

hip replacement recovery

Doctor said that they have to perform a total hip replacement because it’s about to break and you will not be able to walk again”

I started crying, it was like hitting the wall, then I was asking myself what now??

What am I going to tell my family?

I felt lost, with so many thoughts and emotions rushing into my head.

Then  the surgery was performed a week later after I was diagnosed, which I thank God that went well, the Dr said that it was a big surgery.

I started physical  therapy.

I received a phone call from my employer, telling me while I was in recovery, “Sorry,  we have to let you go” that was my Christmas gift, they cut me off!  The benefits are gone, no job, no health care, and all along I thought that I have a secure job.

Bottom line is, if you think you have a safe job there is no such a thing, it takes away your time with your family, your health, your entire life.

Everyone is struggling with something all the time. It’s how we learn from our struggles and our perspective on them that allows us to break through what’s holding us back.

Find something that you’re really passionate about doing in your life. Pursue this passion, set goals and commit yourself to excellence every day…

A Quote from(Law of Attraction):

“Learn from the past, Set vivid, details goals and dream for tomorrow. But live in the only moment of time which you have control over.   NOW ”

Why I do What I do?

to have financial freedom,

to be able to pay my cancer treatments,

have a life that my husband and I deserve and to help others to do the same.

Decide…..Commit….Make the change…Reach your dreams!!!

Too busy and My Life changed

Too busy and My Life changed

I was too busy Working for a company that I thought I had a secure job since they have benefits, and they pay you so you can pay your utilities, food, etc. I was working paycheck to paycheck, and I though that was OK.

No time for my self, my family or my husban

Until one day everything change…

I got sick not knowing what was going on with me, I went through several Doctor’s until one of them refer me to an Orthopedic, they did x ray and went to see the Dr. for the results and he told me that what he sees is not good and that was not his area of expertice and he refer me to another DR, which is in Tampa, FL. They order a bunch of test, went thru all scan. MRI, Ct scan, body scan etc…   then results were in.

I Went to the Dr with my husband  for results, and he told me that I have Stage 4 Breast Cancer metatatic to the bone.  They have to perform a hip replacement and reconstruction.

I started to cry….  the news hit me so hard that I thought I was sincking like a rock when you throw it into the water…..

The Dr said that they need to do it and also start the treatments.

They did, I went to surgery they did a hip replacement on my left side, went to radiation and as of now still with treatments. Hormonal chemo.

Then in the middle of my recovery I received a call from the company I use to work for to let me go but you can apply any time, they do it because is what’s best for business.  That’s kind like merry christmas to me I told her and then hang up. I was upset no job, no health care, but then it hit me. I said this is not worth it, they can replace you at anytime and doesn’t matter what company you work with. I learn in this journey of my life that you cannot take anything for granted and you have to enjoy life as the fullest.

So now I’m going to help my husband to work from home, another chapter of life has turn and a new beginning is starting now, is not going to be easy as is, I have to pay my hospital bills since this treatments aren’t cheap.

Now I want to have time for me, my family, my husband he is been wonderful and make me stronger than ever and thank God to let me see the true meaning of life.

So join us . We will like to help you build a business so you can also have time and freedom that most companies will not let you do.  How cool it would be to not have a dress code ???    http://www.yestoincome.com/

Solid Advice On Dealing With Cancer Symptoms

When you receive a diagnosis of cancer, your immediate and only focus should be on your recovery. You need to find out what options for treatment are available and get moral support. This article will provide you with advice that will help you deal with cancer.

If you quit smoking, it lowers your chances of getting lung cancer, but it also protects you against colon cancer. Smoking allows carcinogens to be transferred to the colon causing cancer and increasing the size of any colon polyps. You can minimize the risk to your colon if you quit smoking.

If you know someone with cancer, listen to what they have to say. You may find it hard, but if they are able to talk about how they are feeling, it will help them. Make sure not to give your personal opinions or interrupt; this time is for them.

TIP! As you deal with cancer in your life, no matter what type, you will need the support of others. You may have feelings that you don’t want to express to your family.

Stay out of the sun around noontime, specifically between 10am and 3pm. Get your outdoor play time in before those hours and you will seriously reduce the risk of skin damage that leads to cancer.

When it comes to cancer, be upfront and honest with all those around you. It’s natural for some people to appear brave and hopeful so that they can protect you. It is of utmost importance that you express how you feel, and what you fear to other people.

Be aware of what symptoms could mean cancer, and when you are most at risk. If you know you have risk factors, then these signals and symptoms can be observed more closely.

TIP! Consider setting up an entertainment center in you bedroom, if you are treating cancer. In the past, you may have banned television from your room.

If you are assisting a member of your family who has had a cancer diagnosis and you go with them to the doctor, ask your own questions. It is likely that you have questions related to your loved one’s condition. In addition, the better you understand your loved one’s diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan, the better equipped you’ll be to offer him or her the proper help and support.

Not every article of clothing will help keep the suns rays off of your skin. There are many attractive styles available in some local stores, and they are also easily available online.

Bring televisions and other entertainment devices into your bedroom once you’ve been diagnosed with cancer. If you did not allow a TV to be placed in your room before, this might be the right time to have one. While you receive your treatment, your bedroom may be your greatest retreat for a while. This can help the time go by as you try to get better.

TIP! Be proactive in accepting the challenges and changes that living with cancer brings. Be prepared now so you can fight later.

If diarrhea is happening a lot during your cancer treatment, stop drinking coffee. The coffee might seem like a good way to perk up, but it actually contributes to diarrhea. Choose non-caffeinated beverages to avoid aggravating your diarrhea.

You may need to stop drinking coffee if you are experiencing an upset stomach from your cancer treatment program. Caffeine can cause discomfort and stomach problems in cancer patients, so maybe it’s time to switch to decaf. Try to avoid chocolate, soft drinks and other products that contain caffeine too.

Be sure to seal any wooden playground equipment or wooden decks if created before 2005. Play sets that were made of wood before 2005 had a pesticide that contained arsenic. If you put a wood sealer on it you will prevent the chance your child will come in contact with the arsenic and develop cancer.

TIP! While many screenings detect only cancer cells, some screening equipment can now detect changes in the body that could lead to cancer in the future if preventative measures are not sought. Timely testing and screening is essential to make sure that it is not too late to obtain proper treatment that may save your life.

Try to maintain your normal lifestyle, as much as you can. You will have to make changes at certain points, so it’s advised to go ahead and adjust to the idea. Trying to plan around an unknown future can lead to unnecessary stress. You should live for today as much as you can.

It’s common for cancer sufferers to grieve that they can’t do certain things anymore. It’s alright and natural to have thoughts like these, but you have to keep your head up and push forward if you want to enjoy the life you have now. By embracing the present, you will be more joyful as you battle cancer.

Whatever it takes, the goal is to defeat cancer. The role of the doctors are to take care of your physical symptoms, but it may be difficult to find good emotional treatment while in the hospital.

TIP! Treating a loved one with cancer the same as you did before their diagnosis is key to their recovery. Cancer patients need all the positive energy from the loved ones as they can get, and when people feel sorry for them, they tend to feel bad about themselves.

Common Sense Tips For Anyone With Cancer

When you first hear a cancer diagnosis, the first thought in your mind should be about recovery. The following paragraphs cover cancer advice, from treatment techniques to tips that help you shore up your support network, all designed to prepare you for beating cancer.

What you think will happen may in fact not happen. It is important to let those who are supporting you know that you appreciate all they are doing for you.

Skin Cancer

TIP! If you accompany a loved one with cancer on a trip to the doctor, don’t hesitate to ask the doctor any questions you may have. Just because you aren’t a patient doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have questions for the doctor as well.

When heading out in the sunshine it is recommended that your skin is covered by clothing and/or sunscreen to reduce the risk of getting skin cancer. The sun’s UV radiation is extremely detrimental to the skin, and some types of skin cancer, such as certain melanomas, can quickly become fatal without timely treatment. Using a SPF30 sunscreen is recommended to prevent burning, and to block a majority of the harmful UV rays. If you are fair skinned, you should always wear sunscreen.

Your body deserves the daily gift of enough rest. Sleep will help your body recover from the medicines and treatments that it is going through. Make sure you get at the very least a total of seven hours of good sleep every night, you might also want to include a quick one hour nap every day as well.

Speak up for yourself when necessary. There are a lot of people who think they cancer is contagious and that they can actually catch something from you. Have a good answer planned in advance and answer them immediately. Being able to respond to such concerns will help your relationship with others during your cancer treatment.

TIP! Early detection is the key to overcoming any cancer. Always have your tests and screenings as recommended.

Try to remember that although you are ill, you are still alive and life moves on. Try your best to keep participating in all of your favorite activities. However, be aware that there may now be some limitation on what your body can do. If something gives a you a lot of joy, you should not let your illness stop you from pursuing it. The pleasure you derive from pursuing your interest will help you stay upbeat and positive.

Do not try to conceal your diagnosis from your family or friends. Trying to be strong and put on a brave face can make you feel isolated and alone at a time when your support system is more important than ever. Open and honest communication strengthens your bonds with your loved one, which will benefit everyone.

Be aware that your body can change, when you are being treated for cancer. Ask your doctor to inform you of the physical effects that different cancer treatments and drugs will have. If you appearance makes you uncomfortable, due to lost hair or pale complexion, then consider wigs and makeup.

TIP! Make sure you protect your skin so that you do not get skin cancer. It may seem counterintuitive, but UV rays can still damage your skin even when the sun isn’t shining directly.

One of the best things that you can do for a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer is to say “I love you” often. Even if you work to show that you love them, sometimes, they need to hear it out loud. Your words of love will provide the support they need.

Cancer is a stressful diagnosis for both the patient and his or her family. However, there are many options for treatment currently available which can either prolong the patient’s life or even cure the cancer. To find out the best treatment option available, talk with a doctor.

Limit your intake of sugary drinks such as soda, or eliminate them altogether if you can. These drinks increase your cancer risk. Eating too many calories and carbohydrates induces weight gain, which can contribute to the development of cancer.

TIP! Staying in shape will keep you healthy, which will in turn make it easier to deal with your cancer treatments. Overweight and obese people have higher risks of cancer and other diseases.

If your cancer treatment protocol is making your stomach upset, you may need to stop drinking coffee. Caffeine can cause discomfort and stomach problems in cancer patients, so maybe it’s time to switch to decaf. You should also steer clear of soda and chocolates, as they contain caffeine as well.

Regardless of how you do it, the main goal is to defeat the cancer. Doctors can physically treat you, but sometimes a hospital isn’t the best emotional treatment.
